Building Awareness
Being aware of whatever is present, just as it is, gives us our foundation and springboard to take action. It is so easy in our busy lives to miss our body's cues, to resist, suppress or avoid a thought or feeling hoping things may resolve themselves or go away. Looking after our wellbeing is a continual active process of the choices we make everyday. When we make these based on our awareness and understanding of how we are feeling it means we can support ourselves best to enable us not just survive but thrive. Using mindfulness or hypnotherapy you learn to connect to whatever is consciously or unconsciously pulling for your attention and use this awareness to support your goal.
Empowering You
During our initial consultation and discussion I will suggest different therapies that I feel will best support you towards your goal. Each session offers you space to be and experience different mindful or hypnosis techniques which I record for you to practice at home. This is a very important part of our journey together as your home practice embeds the skills you are learning in the session to build trust so that your 'toolbox' of empowering strategies becomes your default response overwriting old habits.
